CALL FOR ENTRIES
Submissions are now being accepted for the film program of the Short Film, Feature Film, junges dokfest, DokfestGeneration, and Golden Hercules sections, as well as for the Monitoring exhibition at the 43rd Kassel Dokfest (November 17–22, 2026 + online until November 29, 2026). Selections for these sections will be made from among the submissions. Each festival section has its own selection committee, whose members decide which films will be included in the festival program. We do not charge an entry fee.
The on-site film program is supplemented by an online offering. Filmmakers are free to choose not to have their work presented online (geo-blocked and copy-protected).

WHAT CAN BE SUBMITTED?
We are looking for recent experimental and/or documentary films, as well as hybrid forms of documentary and installation concepts of any length and on any topic, completed in 2025 or 2026.
WHERE AND HOW CAN I SUBMIT A WORK?
Works have to be submitted online via a streaming link unlimited in time which is also downloadable. Stills have be uploaded online as well.
