Across one long night, four films wander through worlds in which the promise of progress has taken strange and unexpected turns. From digital side hustles and global commodities to blood, love and imagined futures, their characters search for connection and ways to keep going within systems that no longer quite work. Yet the night is also a space of possibility: for encounters, tenderness and reinvention. And as the final film moves into daylight, another future, however uncertain, begins to come into view.
