Yalla Parkour

By chance, Areeb Zuaiter, a filmmaker from the West Bank who lives in the US, discovers videos on YouTube of young men practicing parkour in Gaza under oppressive living conditions. Fascinated by their resilience, she befriends them and lets us share in their lives. The result is a film about hope in the face of the most adverse living conditions, which takes the director back to the carefree days of her childhood, spent with her mother by the sea in Gaza.
