We, the Inheritors

The parents of filmmaker Simon Baumann – both well-known figures in Swiss politics – have retired and bought a farm in the French countryside where they practice organic farming. However, the farm's remote location makes it hardly suitable as a retirement home, so they want to pass the estate on to their two sons. The sons, on the other hand, are undecided as to whether they want to take on the burden of their parents' former dream. So what to do with the inheritance? This question gives rise to a film about legacies and how to deal with them.
