Olga Kosanović was born in Austria, went to school in Vienna, and has spent her entire life there, but she is not allowed to vote. To change this, she attempts to obtain Austrian citizenship and ends up in an absurd bureaucratic gauntlet, because the Austrian Citizenship Act is surpassed in strictness only by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. She accompanies her efforts to become an Austrian with this clever and funny film about home, belonging, and being a stranger.
