Can a violin be a weapon? A body, a voice, or simply being present? This film answers with a clear and intergenerational “yes”. It follows activists practicing nonviolent civil disobedience, breaking the law peacefully to fight for justice and social change. Coming from outside, the director enters these movements with curiosity and openness, getting close to those who take risks for political engagement. The film places contemporary protest in the tradition of Thoreau, Gandhi and King, reminding us that many democratic and human rights achievements were won through courageous action in the streets.
