Floating

| (Extra)Ordinary
(BALi, KulturBahnhof Kassel)

An inner journey through displacement, and the fragile search for identity. Drifting through unfamiliar landscapes that shift between memory, dream, and reality, the protagonist gradually loses any clear sense of belonging. Places dissolve into metaphors, objects transform into emotions, and fragments of the self, emerge and disappear like currents beneath the surface. The animated film explores what it means to exist between cultures, between languages, and between versions of oneself. Its abstract visual language, and immersive soundscape reflect the quiet state of floating as a way of inhabiting the world.
