Fracture

CN: Violence
Keren Kraizer, artist, filmmaker and activist, left Israel at 20 to study dance in Europe, torn for years between longing for home and unease upon return. She travels to her family to explore her identity as an Israeli at odds with Netanyahu's politics, creating a poetic visual diary. Conversations with her mother and grandmother offer partial answers. She joins a protest, picks olives in occupied Palestinian territories, confronts settlers, and meets activist Shir. After October 7, 2023, violence escalates. Kraizer asks herself: if her beloved birthplace brings so much death, how should one live?
