Circusboy

Santino is a circusboy. His great-grandfather is one of Germany's last great circus directors and tells him stories about his ancestors: about his friendship with an elephant, about farewells, new beginnings and life in a caravan, always on the move. ZIRKUSKIND tells the story of the last nomads in Germany – of growing up with an extended family and animals, of a life without a safety net, free as a bird.
