Jos and Lisa, unknown to each other, dare an unusual and provocative relationship experiment: For one week they travel to the city of San Francisco, unknown to both of them, for an intimate scenario. Equipped with two cameras, they constantly document their physical and verbal relationship with each other. Five years later, they invite the French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy to relate their documented experiences and reflections to his text "L 'il y a' du rapport sexuel" and to comment on it. What emerges is a multi-layered analysis of this encounter bordering on pornography. (Christina Zimmermann)
