Driving 800 kilometers in their mobile homes after a long shift for a job at another location is a common occurence in the lives of Marie-Laure, Florian, Vincent and Jérôme – they are workers in the french atomic industry, doing the compulsory monthly maintenance and cleanup in the danger zones of nuclear power plants. Driven by bonuses, they rush from job to job, until they reach the permitted radiation level and are banned for the rest of a month. Always dreaming of a life after being nuclear nomads, in one place with their families – unsure if they will make it to the unscathed. (Carolin Ernst)
