CN: Thematization of sexualized violence
Fasia Jansen grew up in Hamburg during the Nazi era and became known for her concerts at the Easter marches of the peace movement in the 1960s. Director Re Karen published a portrait of Jansen back in 1987 and is now presenting a newly edited version. The film paints a complex picture of Fasia Jansen's reality as a Black woman, artist, and activist in post-war Germany, and in the face of current debates, her thoughts on militarization, belonging, and solidarity have lost none of their relevance.
