Three Women

| Three Women
(Filmladen)

Stushytsia, a Ukrainian village in the Carpathian Mountains in the trijunction between Poland and Slovakia. Selensky's election victory is a marginal note here; everyday life does not change as a result. It's a "dead end," says farmer Hanna. Her only company is a cow, which – like the film crew – is omnipresent. The villagers get their pension from the postal worker Maria. Scientist Nelya analyzes bear droppings and dreams of going to Antarctica with a research team. This film impressively tells why the three women stay here and don't lose their courage to live.
