A Still Small Voice

In a hospital in New York, Mati, a young chaplain, cares for the patients with great empathy. She holds their hands, encourages them, mourns and laughs with them. In the isolated hospital rooms in the midst of the corona pandemic, moments of interpersonal warmth shine through.
Her team is assisted by a supervisor who wants to offer them a safe space for self-reflection. But questions about boundaries and self-care emerge fairly soon. When has our own personal moment come when we recognize burnout and act accordingly? (Sita Scherer)
